  British Steel hide. The geese flew in and settled. Masses of other waders mixed together in the glistening sunshine.
Star bird was the juv. Goshawk just outside the cafe.
Later, a Kestrel vole catching at Machynys and a Sparrowhawk and Peregrine disturbing the waders at Kidwelly Quay

  High numbers of Swallows and House Martins going though the farm heading up the valley. Other than that a very quiet 2 hour walk around the farm.

Swallows trending ESE in a steady stream, with many hawking over the burrows
