Five! I noticed a group of egrets flying onto the sand and felt they looked a bit odd. I first noticed the yellow beaks, their size, dwarfing a nearby Curlew and then their long dark legs when they took off and flew onto Pembrey Marsh, out of sight behind the dunes. In the breeze their long necks looked very ungainly. Peregrine looked a brown juv. Meds flew out of a very big gull gathering.
