| Male, found whilst birding with Canadian birder Carl Hughes. It was with Teal, Wigeon & Pintail downriver from the Quay. Then joined by Bernie Beck and we were able to confirm it was fully-winged and un-ringed. It flew up to the railway bridge and then back downriver again before swimming out of view on falling tide. Seen for only 30 minutes. |

| Outside the house doing my 20min listening for Tawny Owls. When a Barn Owl comes out of the woods behind the house and flys over my head. If i wasn’t looking that way I would of missed it. Not a single noise came from its wing beat. |

| Hobby still around after five days at Penclacwydd. Landed on the ground between Goodall`s hide and British Steel hide after chasing Pipits. Spotted again later by another person over the ponds on the Reserve. |
