| Not a recent record! Readers may be interested that I recall George Little (then in his 80s) telling me in 1973 of corncrakes at Machynys and `Llanerch fields` (now council houses) in his youth ie c 1900-15. My grandfather (WE Morgan) also told me of breeding birds at Popehill & Haverfordwest (Pembs) at the same period. |
