| 3 broods of young from 3 pairs of Little Grebes and a nest with eggs. Swans with their 7 cygnets. 2 broods of Mallard ducklings and Moorhen young. By the lakes, singing Skylarks, Reed Buntings, Chiffchaffs, Willow Warbler, Garden Warblers and Whitethroats. |

| A downy chick on the mud in the harbour. I first saw it there yesterday evening. It obviously hatched nearby, but how it got into the harbour is a mystery. |

| A follow up to old records of corncrake [posted by Ian Morgan last Saturday]. One bird heard calling probably where Jewsons is now, and another [possibly same bird] calling from rough ground near Towy garage. |
