| At a time of arrivals, a departure. For the last 5 years a BH gull has become progressively tame when I discard spare bits of bread etc. It has consistent habits that enables me to individually identify it, even when a few other BHGs are around. This bird – and the others – have now gone (24 Feb), presumably on the start of their journey (perhaps in stages) back to their E European (?) breeding areas. |
