  Sadly dead on road beside Cors Goch NNR, a piece of raised bog, referred to by Carms. Council in the past as ‘just a bit of weed’.
On more positive note 2 young barn owls in nest box Newchurch.

  Hight tide roost on playing fields with Black-headed Gulls. Total includes 6 juvenile birds.

  The juvenile AZVJ, seen in the harbour on 21st July had been ringed as a nestling in Leipzig, Germany on 11th June. It had travelled a distance of 1146km.

Lesser Whitethroat 1
Male singing atop a young ash tree at the very corner of the path (at SS496998) which skirts the now demolished factory site (later MCPk offices).  A confiding bird, singing in full view at short range (no need for bins!).
