| All week a pre-roost gathering on a tall pylon and adjacent wires before flying to nearby roost which has been used in recent winters. Only up to 800 birds but still an impressive sight and sound. |

| Seen from car, an adult perched in adjacent roadside hedge at the end of July. Information given to me by reliable informant (who also gave me substantiated other non-bird records). He also told me of the presence of yellowhammers near Troserch, Llangennech exactly where I saw them in 1976-7. Name of informant not known – sorry! |
