| Nice big flock of Oystercatchers on the point. All disturbed by wind surfers who when politely asked to stop disturbing the birds carried on regardless. Some form of restriction/enforcement is badly needed at this site. |

| We successfully released it Telpyn Point this evening. It had been found in a back garden in Ystradgynlais on Sunday evening. There have also been birds found in Llandovery and Abergwili following the weekends storms. If anyone finds a wind blown Shearwater please contact me and I will try to get it collected with hopeful release back to the sea. My contact details are on the bird club website. |

| Substantial flock of Oystercatchers on the spit until a pair of dogwalkers allowed their dog to repeatedly put up the flock until they had all gone. Give me strength! |

| Quick pass-through visit and marsh completely flooded on high tide again. Redshank only seen way off when disturbed by something before melting away in the very distant uncovered marsh. |
