Fieldfare 2
Went searching for a potential Desert Wheatear that was seen on fence posts briefly by Paul Aubrey. No sign of it but a nice selection of raptors. Hen Harrier was a male. SEO was hunting over dunes at end of tarmac track.

Redstart 1
A female. It appeared on a neighbour’s single storey extension roof a little downhill, so same elevation as myself. Very well lit by the sun showing some red in the outer tail feathers. Some red on the rump visible as it flew off to a telephone cable. From there, towards another house but it didn’t settle and flew away.

Fieldfare 40
The sounds of Winter thrushes are becoming more frequent in recent mornings due to Northerly winds I guess, but the best I could do was a flock 40 Fieldfares flying across one of the meadows around Salem.
