Cetti's Warbler 2
Walking along the footpath to the bottom of Old Castle Rd, S of Pont d`Agen, a Cetti`s warbler started singing from some path-edge brambles and scrub and another bird answered from nearby. I stopped to look if I could see the bird. I could n`t, but then I noticed some movement in the brambles only about 5ft away – and there was a Cetti`s, unobscured by vegetation and easily seen without bins (which I did n`t have anyway). This was only about 40 ft away from the bottom of Old Castle Road.
