Shearwaters all heading south, probably twice this number as there were large numbers of Shearwaters  a long way out. Swallows were flying north.

When I arrived there was two Grasshopper Warblers reeling away and than a Cuckoo started calling. Than at 21:50 two nightjar calling, churring and one was seen flying. They where still churring when I left at 22:10 but was too dark to see them flying.

post- breeding dispersal?  A pair attempted to breed in the Tywi valley about 20 years ago but lost 2 clutches due to flooding and later gravel extraction. What was noticeable then is how they chased off any corvid in the area – indirectly
help safeguard LRP and sandpiper nests. fwiw.
