| Heard `yaffling` and later seen flying down to pastures S of Stradey Castle. It landed on a fence post before descending to inspect a row of ant mounds that had survived agricultural improvement along the route of the fence. Ant nests are an important source of food for this species. GSpWpkr drumming in adjacent woods, but no Lessers. |
