Bird singing briefly during a short period of sunshine. The grey skies and rather cold temperature may be putting the chiffchaffs having a sing-song!

Hundreds of Common Gull and Scoter. DIvers appeared to be somewhere off Newfoundland. 35 Fieldfare on Pembrey football pitch, Factory Road.

Farmer's where putting slurry out on the fields 3 down from the bridge where the gulls, Little Egret's and Buzzards and Jackdaws where feeding.
The Swan's where all together in the field opposite the entrance to Gelli Aur college.
Great White Egret was with one Little Egret roosting in a tree.

We have just seen that Prof. Carl Jones who gave that absolutely facination talk at a recent Bird Club evening meeting on 'The Birds of Round Island' is the guest on Desert Island Discs this Sunday,16th, radio 4 at 10am.

Cuckoo heard calling deep in Sir John's Hill wood, Shelduck flew from Ginst Point area up the Corran River and returned without landing.
