  Another Diver too far out to determine species but it looked different to the two Red Throats. The LT Duck was a male.

  GC Grebes in full breeding plumage and displaying.
Little grebe loudly uttering its territorial call.

  `Drumming`male on a tall National Grid pylon – it sounded like a loud machine gun, with the sound resonating throughout the metal structure. Adapting to the modern environment!
