  Was counting the Redshank in the first harbour when i notice a Peregrine came low over the carpark and straight down the bank and low to the mud. How it didn’t catch anything i don’t know the Redshanks didn’t see it coming untill the last few seconds.

  Roost of Turnstones very close after the turn of high tide on the end of the harbour mole beyond the light house. The yellow legs were the first thing I saw as I looked at the flock from a few feet away. My 200th County bird.
