| juv. on the NRA scrapes. The one pool in the area that still holds water is looking very attractive for waders. A Reed Warbler in the grounds is a first for me and is probably a sign of some autumn passage. |

| Whilst eating breakfast outside a male Goshawk appeared over the garden which incredibly started displaying to a female Goshawk which I could see high above it. Fantastic show for a good 5 minutes before they both headed off east. |
