Red Kite 6 |

The village of Salem has had resident and breeding Red Kites for a number of years. They are with us every day flying low over home and garden. Every day if full of kites calling to each other. An attempt was made two years ago to nest in one of our garden Oak trees. This evening six were being fed by our Neighbour, and at times in late summer eight kites come into feed. We believe at least one kite is reared successfully in our neighbours Oak trees each year. |
