| My first visit up the mountain for as few weeks. The Red Grouse was seen on top of the hill across the road from quarry car park on the Black Mountain, there is one small patch of heather there from where it flew away. Only 3 Golden Plover today further down on the stony ground before the walk up to the next stone cairn. |
