| Spotted the Merlin from my car. The bird was perched on a rock just 30ft or so from the side of the road. I parked in the top car park by which time the Merlin had flown further up the mountain but I still had a superb watch of it with binoculars for a few minutes before it flew off low to the ground over the mountain. My first time of seeing a Merlin..chuffed!! The four Kites were hovering in the therms on the way up the mountain. |
