Goosander were two pairs. The mallard were in two groups downriver with a singleton upriver from the bridge. The Oystercatcher was in the field immediately to the left of the river and in the field next to the road. The Whooper swans and the geese were two fields upriver from the road, best seen from the footpath about 50 yards south of the bridge. There were more swans but I couldn’t ID them properly due to the hedge and trees. |
