| Superb day had. Great views of the Merlin as it sat on a post across the field eating it’s prey, probably stayed for 15 mins or so. Three SE Owls back and forth for hours in a field. Kestrel made numerous appearances.Great to see a Hen Harrier fly past. A Marsh Harrier also seen by another gentleman standing next to me, he also saw all the above mentioned birds. The Cetti’s warbler heard in the bushes behind us. Numbers of Lapwing and Golden Plover probably higher than stated. |
