| Male in garden eating Cotoneaster berries. Interesting to read Adam`s earlier posting of 2 blackcaps eating palm tree berries. I have that only once, but starlings regularly feed on them. The palm tree concerned is Cabbage Palm Cordyline australis, a native of New Zealand (a well-known clump is in West End, Llanelli). Young plants can sometimes be found in Llanelli`s streets and backlanes where the birds` droppings land. |
