This is an annual event that takes place the last weekend of February each year, therefore 24th and 25th February for 2018. We ask that volunteers walk a stretch of beach and record any beached (i.e. dead) birds they see. If they can identify the birds great, but if it is only wings or an unidentifiable bird the record is still welcomed. We then ask for a general state of the beach in order to record any oiling or litter.
