A scarce spring and autumn passage migrant to freshwater sites. Recorded chiefly in May and August/September.

There were three records of this scarce wader, all at Penclacwydd. The first was a spring adult on 10th May. The other two were autumn birds, a juvenile on from 18th-20th August then an adult from 23rd-25th September.
There were a total of four records: The first was an adult at Penclacwydd on 7th May. 2 more adults appeared mid-summer at Dinefwr Ponds on 27th June and again at Penclacwydd on 3rd July. The last record was of a juvenile, once more at Penclacwydd, from 13th-21st September.
All records were of single birds from Penclacwydd, with at least 4, possibly 6 individuals involved. Adults on 11th and 13th May; 17th – 18th June and 6th – 9th August; an un-aged individual on 13th and a juvenile from 16th -21st.
In May there were 3 spring passage records with singles at Penclacwydd on 16th and Banc-y-Lord Pond on 18th and 2 at Penclacwydd on 19th – 20th.
There were 2 autumn passage records of single birds at Penclacwydd on 7th and 26th August.
There were 2 records of singles: Dinefwr Ponds on 8th and 22nd August and Penclacwydd on 25th.
Again, singles at Dinefwr Ponds on 10th August and Penclacwydd on 17th September.
One report only, of a single at Dinefwr Ponds on 8th September.
