The only record was from the Usk Reservoir where a single bird was present from 15th to 24th February. Last recorded in 1991.
1994
There were 2 records of single birds at Burry Port on 31st October and Telpyn Point on 23rd December.
1996
There were 4 records of singles at Penclacwydd on 24th – 25th January and 18th October and Power Station Pond, Burry Port from 1st – 6th September and of 2 at Salmon Scar on 29th December. This was the best year since 1986.
1997
There were 2 records of single birds at Penclacwydd on 14th and 21st December.
1998
The only record was of 1 at Pembrey Harbour on 5th – 6th January.
1999
The only record was of 1 at Penclacwydd on 24th January.
2001
There were three appearances – each of a single bird – of this rare visitor to Penclacwydd, seen on the estuary, on 28th January. 26th March and 19th November.
