Utilised nest boxes at Upper Lliedi Reservoir, 1 pair, Cynghordy 2 pairs and Gelli Aur, 2 pairs.
The Gelli Aur nest boxes were occupied by 2 pairs which fledged 12 young.
Two pairs bred in nest boxes at Abbey Woods, Whitland and 1 pair at Lower Lliedi Reservoir.
Three pairs bred in nest boxes at Abbey Woods, Whitland and 4 pairs fledged 13 young at Gelli Aur. A single bird was at Penclacwydd on 14th September – it is a rare bird on the coastal flats south east of Llanelli.
Two pairs occupied the nest boxes at Gelli Aur.
Two nestbox pairs fledged 11 young at Coed Pont Felin-gat.
Three pairs bred in nestboxes at Gelli Aur and a nestbox pair fledged 2 young at Aberglasney Gardens.
A pair bred in a Great Spotted Woodpecker’s nest at Glan Ddu. 2 nest box pairs were discovered: one at Rhydywrach and the other at Aberglasney.
Penclacwydd, where they are rare, had 2 birds in November. 6 monopolised feeders at Ffosddu on 7th June.
Penclacwydd, where it is rare, had 1 bird in January and February. 1 at Cynheidre on 1st and 15th. A pair nest-building near Llandyfeisant Church, Dinefwr Park on 31st March. ‘…hiding nuts in crevices and covering with moss and lichen…’ at Dinas on 17th September.
Of three clutches examined at ? all had 7 eggs.
