The first birds to be precisely dateable since 23rd March 1986, were 7 juveniles on 30th August ‘…feeding in very close-cropped coastal grassland…’ near Telpyn Point. Of these, 3 were ringed: 2 from separate Castlemartin Range nests and 1 from a Ramsey Island nest, 25-28km West and at least 50km North-West respectively. There were 8 on 2nd September and 6 on 11th October.
