I have recently become the BTO Heronries Census Regional Organiser for Carmarthenshire. There are several known heronries in the county. See the map of sites: https://app.bto.org/colonies/public/vacant-sites.jsp
I would like to ask members of the club if anyone knows of additional nesting sites – it would be great to add them to the Census.
Or if anyone would be interested in helping with the annual survey.
