| Golden Plover 60 | |
| A visit to Mynydd Du today with Hugh Gillings the first since last autumn. There was a calling Ring Ouzel at Herberts Quarries. At Garreg Lwyd there was a flock of 60 passage Golden Plover. Later to the west there was another flock of 44 Golden Plover with a tiercel Peregrine stooping at them. Also the fresh pluckings of a Curlew, a Peregrine kill. A big female Goshawk over. A few Wheatears displaying. |
